BALTIMORE, Md.—Sophomore
Shannon Lloyd (King of Prussia, Pa./Archbishop John Carroll) finished with seven hits and seven RBIs to lead Keystone College to a sweep of Notre Dame of Maryland University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Saturday afternoon.
Lloyd had four hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs as the Giants took the opener, 13-4, in five innings. She came back in the second game to belt a pair of doubles and a triple and drove in four runs as Keystone won again in five innings, 13-0.
The Giants are now 11-23 overall and 9-9 in the CSAC.
Senior
Kaylee Hartman (Red Bank, N.J./Red Bank Regional) also had a big day for the Giants, finishing with two hits and three RBIs in the opener and three hits and scored two runs in the nightcap.
Keystone also received three hits from sophomore
Mariah Loughney (Jermyn, Pa./Lakeland) in the first game and sophomore
Ashley Constable (Bangor, Pa./Bangor Area) and junior
Samantha Monetti (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) contributed two hits apiece in the second.
Overall, the Giants finished with 30 hits today.
Keystone returns to action on Tuesday, April 24, against Misericordia University in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Edmunds Field in La Plume.
