Zuniga’s Game Winner Lifts Giants Over Bryn Athyn in OT

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Sept. 29, 2018 - Junior Daniel Zuniga (Lakeland, Fla./McKeel Academy) scored the game-winning goal in the 100th minute to lift the Keystone College men's soccer team to a 1-0 OT win at Bryn Athyn in CSAC play on Saturday afternoon.

Zuniga's header - his fifth of the year - went off the right post and into the net, off a cross from sophomore James Johnson (Burtonsville, Md./James Hubert Blake), to improve Keystone's record to 6-3-0 (1-1-0 CSAC). The Lions fall to 2-7-0 (0-2-0 CSAC).

The Giants outshot Bryn Athyn 19-4 as Zuniga led all players with five shots. Senior Andrew Lupinacci (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) and sophomore Carlos Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) both provided three shots apiece to pace the Keystone attack.

Freshman keeper Erick Gomez (Marrero, La./John Ehret) earned the clean sheet, making two stops in the victory.

The Giants will return home to host CSAC opponent and local foe Clarks Summit on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 7 pm for TNT Youth Soccer Night.
