Oribello Scores 20 in 71-36 Victory at Clarks Summit

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. - Jan. 16, 2019 - Freshman Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) scored a game-high 20 points and four other players joined in double figures as the Keystone College women's basketball team claimed a 71-36 victory at Clarks Summit University in CSAC action on Wednesday night.

With the win, Keystone improves to 8-7, 5-2 CSAC and the Giants will host Centenary on Friday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. Clarks Summit falls to 0-15, 0-7 CSAC and the Defenders travel to Rosemont on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m.

Oribello scored her 20 points behind 7-of-16 shooting from the field, including a 5-of-11 showing from beyond the arc. The freshman provided four steals and four steals.

Senior Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) tallied 12 points and a 11 boards for a double-double, while sophomore Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) scored 11 points to go along with five assists, three steals and three boards.

Junior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) and sophomore Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) both scored 10 points and combined for seven boards. Sophomore Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) enjoyed eight points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds in the win.

For the Defenders, Randie Traxler scored a team-best 16 points.

The Giants led 35-9 at halftime, thanks to a 23-2 second quarter. Keystone outscored Clarks Summit 23-11 in the third to put the contest out of reach.
