Giants Fall at Wilson 96-80 Despite Flynn’s Career-High 34

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jan. 30, 2019 - Junior Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) exploded for a career-high 34 points to lead all players on Wednesday night but the Keystone College men's basketball team fell at host Wilson College 96-80 in CSAC action.

With the road loss, Keystone drops to 3-19, 2-7 CSAC and the Giants host Bryn Athyn on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. Wilson improves to 11-10, 7-2 CSAC and the Phoenix head to Rosemont on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m.

Flynn finished the night 13-of-24 from the field, including six made three-pointers for his second 30-point outburst this year as the junior netted a then-career high 30 points against Rosemont back on Jan. 12.

Junior Javonte Matthews (North Hollywood, Calif./North Hollywood) finished with nine points and five rebounds while both junior Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) and freshman Tyrell Lacoste (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) both chipped in eight points each.

Sophomore Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) tallied seven points while senior Devin Stricklin (Midland, Tex./Pro Vision Prep) scored six points while leading the Giants with six rebounds. Senior Terrence Bowman (Ewing, N.J./Ewing) paced the offense with six assists.

For Wilson, five players finished in double figures as Rashaan Bean scored a team-high 20 points followed by Adrian Thomas with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Keystone shot 52.2 percent on the night (35-of-67) and scored 46 points in the paint but the Phoenix were able to force 20 miscues and scored 23 points off of turnovers.
