Field Hockey Falls at No. 11 Kean 6-0

UNION, N.J. - The Keystone College field hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision at No. 11 Kean University on Saturday.
  • The Giants are now 7-7 and will remain on the road, heading to Morrisville State on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
  • The Cougars improve to 16-1.
  • The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Keystone.
  • Kean scored once in the 1st, twice in the 2nd, once in the 3rd & twice in the 4th.
  • Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) made a career-high 20 saves, which is tied for the 9th most in single-game program history. The 20 stops is also the most in a single game in the CSAC this year.
  • Senior Daphne Leenas (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) notched 1 defensive save & now has 9 on the year, which leads the CSAC and is currently tied for 2nd in all of Division III in the category.
