Field Hockey Earns 3-2 Double OT Win at Arcadia; Robinson Enjoys 100th Career Point

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Keystone College field hockey team enjoyed a 3-2 double overtime win at Arcadia University on Wednesday night.
  • With the win, the Giants improve to 5-6 on the year and will head to Cedar Crest in CSAC action on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m.
  • The Knights drop to 3-9.
  • Senior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) caged the first goal of the night in the 2nd minute, giving her 101 points in her career, becoming only the 2nd player in program history to achieve that milestone (Hope Krolewski, 2009-13).
  • Arcadia scored twice to take a 2-1 lead into the fourth quarter until sophomore Julia Blahut (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock) enjoyed a penalty stroke goal to tie the game at 2-2.
  • Junior Jackie Martin (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) caged the game-winner at 77:21 in the second OT to give the Giants the win.
  • Robinson & Martin both finished with 5 shots on goal each.
  • Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) finished with 12 saves while senior Daphne Leenas (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) & sophomore Karley Cresswell (Lake Winola, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) both earned defensive saves.
