Women’s Soccer Enjoys 2-0 Win vs. Clarks Summit to Conclude 2019

La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College women's soccer team enjoyed a 2-0 blanking of Clarks Summit University in CSAC action on Friday.
  • Keystone wraps up 2019 at 3-12-2 (2-6-1 CSAC)
  • Friday was the final game for 7 seniors: Kassadi Woods (Trumansburg, N.Y./Charles O. Dickerson), Kristen Hlavaty (Scott Twp., Pa./Lakeland), Amber Smith (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro), Jordyn Olsen (Southampton, N.J./Seneca), Tristin Williams (Albany, N.Y./Guilderland), Hayden Richner (Nicholson, Pa./Mountain View) & Rebekah Shepherd (South Canaan, Pa./Western Wayne).
  • Clarks Summit ends the year at 4-12-0 (0-9-0 CSAC).
  • Richner scored in the 10th minute (8th of the season), to give the Giants a 1-0 lead, thanks to an assist by junior Julia Stapleton (Marlboro, N.J./Freehold Township).
  • Junior Alex Myers (Holton, Kan./Holton) scored her 3rd of the year in the 79th minute, off a feed from Richner.
  • Overall, Keystone outshot the Defenders 20-5 as Richner led the attack with 5 shots.
  • Olsen fired off 4 shots while Myers & junior Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) both tallied 3 each.
  • Shepherd made 5 saves for the clean sheet.
