Strong Second Half Lifts Giants Past Defenders 83-70

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Keystone College women's basketball team rallied for an 83-70 CSAC win at Clarks Summit University on Thursday evening.
  • The Giants improve to 4-1 (2-0 CSAC) and will travel to Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m.
  • The Defenders move to 3-3 (1-1 CSAC).
  • Sophomore Bella Lamonea (Glendora, Calif./South Hills) scored a team-high 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting.
  • Junior Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) provided 15 points, 5 boards, 2 steals & 2 helpers off the bench.
  • Sophomore Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) tallied 13 points, 6 assists & 3 steals.
  • Freshman Katie Price (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) enjoyed 13 points, 5 rebounds & 2 assists while classmate Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) tallied 9 points & 7 rebounds.
  • Junior Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) enjoyed 6 points & 7 rebounds while junior Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) provided 4 points, 4 rebounds & 3 assists.
  • For the Defenders, Elizabeth Singleton tallied a double-double with 30 points & 17 rebounds.
  • Keystone trailed 42-36 at halftime but rallied with a 28-16 third quarter.
