Women’s Basketball Falls at Rosemont in CSAC Finals 80-55

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Freshman Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) scored a team-high 15 points for the Keystone College women's basketball team on Saturday but the Giants fell at host Rosemont College 80-55 in the 2019 CSAC Championship.

With the loss, the Giants end the season at 16-11, marking the most wins for the program since the 2012-13 season (18-9).

Rosemont improves to 24-3 and earns the CSAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Oribello shot 7-of-15 from the field and provided three assists and one steal. Senior Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) enjoyed a double-double in her final collegiate contest, collecting 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

Sophomore Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) finished with 10 points, six rebounds and two assists while sophomore Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) tallied nine points, nine boards and two helpers. Classmate Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) notched seven points and six rebounds in the loss.

For the Ravens, Ashley Murray tallied a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Three other Rosemont student-athletes scored in double figures.

The first quarter was all Rosemont as the Ravens jumped out to a 19-4 lead after one period of play. The Giants trailed 35-14 at halftime.

Keystone was able to outscore Rosemont 26-21 in the third but a 24-15 fourth quarter advantage by the Ravens put the game out of reach.
