Cockrell & Lacoste Combine for 36 in 86-59 Win Over CSU

La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College men's basketball team enjoyed an 86-59 CSAC win over visiting Clarks Summit University on Wednesday night.
  • With the victory, Keystone jumps to 8-12 (4-5 CSAC) & will remain at home to host Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m.
  • The Defenders drop to 3-17 (2-7 CSAC).
  • Junior Tone Cockrell (Upper Marlboro, Md./Landon School) scored a game-high 21 points, going 10-of-10 from the foul line, to go along with 7 rebounds & 4 assists.
  • Junior Tyrell Lacoste (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) followed with 15 points off the bench while junior Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) chipped in 14 points & 2 rebounds.
  • Senior Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) notched 11 points & 5 assists while junior Gary Brown (Pennsauken, N.J./Camden Catholic) tallied 9 points.
  • Freshmen Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton), Jalen Gregory (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) & Jalen Horsley (Atco, N.J./Hammonton) combined for 14 points, 12 rebounds & 3 blocks.
  • Sophomore Albert Pewa (Philadelphia, Pa./Interboro) enjoyed 2 points, 2 boards & 4 assists off the bench.
  • For CSU, Gideon Agbo notched 15 points & 9 boards.
  • Keystone led by 10 (39-29) at halftime & outscored the Defenders by 17 in the 2nd half (47-30).
