Cockrell Nets 29 in 102-83 Defeat at Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The Keystone College men's basketball team dropped a 102-83 decision at Centenary University in CSAC action on Thursday night.
  • Keystone falls to 5-9 (2-3 CSAC) and will host Wilson College on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 3 p.m.
  • The Cyclones improve to 8-6 (3-0 CSAC).
  • Junior Tone Cockrell (Upper Marlboro, Md./Landon School) scored a team-high 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the field & 9-of-11 shooting from the foul line, to go along with 11 boards, 8 assists & 3 steals.
  • Junior Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) netted 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the field and 7-of-10 shooting from the charity stripe, & grabbed 6 rebounds.
  • Freshman Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) tallied 9 points & 2 boards off the bench while senior Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) and freshman Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) combined for 14 points.
  • Juniors Gary Brown (Pennsauken, N.J./Camden Catholic) & Jalen Nuckles combined for 8 points.
  • For Centenary, Chris Labelle notched a triple double with 33 points, 12 assists & 10 rebounds, going 16-of-17 from the foul line.
  • Three Cyclones finished with 14 points each.
  • Centenary shot 27-of-30 from the foul line (90%) and outrebounded Keystone 42-30.
