Women’s Basketball Earns 59-49 Win at Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The Keystone College women's basketball team earned a 59-49 victory at Centenary University in CSAC action on Thursday night.
  • Keystone improves to 8-5 (6-0 CSAC) and will host Wilson College on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m.
  • The Cyclones drop to 6-5 (2-3 CSAC).
  • Sophomore Bella Lamonea (Glendora, Calif./South Hills) scored a team-high 16 points & grabbed 12 rebounds for the double-double.
  • Lamonea shot 5-of-12 from downtown.
  • Freshman Katie Price (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) tallied 13 points, going 4-of-7 from the field & 3-of-3 from the foul line, while grabbing 4 rebounds 
  • Junior Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) notched 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from deep while adding 3 boards.
  • Junior Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) registered 9 points & 7 rebounds while junior Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) notched 6 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists & 4 steals.
  • Sophomore Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) tallied 3 points, 3 rebounds & 3 steals in the win.
  • For the Cyclones, Victoria Jacobs scored 16 points while Jessica McKenzie tallied 14 points & 12 boards. Carmen Escano notched 8 points & 15 rebounds.
  • The Giants jumped out to a 17-4 lead after the 1st quarter & led 26-16 at the break.
  • Keystone & Centenary each scored 33 points in the 2nd half.
