Cockrell & Flynn Combine for 49 Points in Keystone’s 93-91 OT Win at Wilson

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Keystone College men's basketball team held off host Wilson College 93-91 in overtime for a key CSAC victory on Saturday afternoon.
  • With the win, Keystone moves to 10-14 (6-7 CSAC) & will host St. Elizabeth on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. in the regular season finale.
  • The team will honor Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) & Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) in a pregame ceremony for Senior Day.
  • Wilson drops to 10-13 (7-5 CSAC).
  • Junior Tone Cockrell (Upper Marlboro, Md./Landon School) scored a team-high 29 points behind 10-of-18 shooting from the field, going 5-of-8 from deep.
  • Cockrell also provided 7 boards, 7 assists & 4 steals.
  • Flynn followed with 20 points, 5 rebounds & 2 steals while Mills tallied 18 points off the bench.
  • Freshman Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) notched 11 points & 8 rebounds while junior Jaylen Nuckles (Corning, N.Y./Corning) tallied 7 points.
  • Junior Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) and freshman Jalen Gregory (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) combined for 7 points & 3 rebounds.
  • For the Phoenix, Rashaan Bean recorded a double-double with 29 points & 15 boards.
  • Keystone led 45-36 at halftime before Wilson outscored the Giants 44-35 in the 2nd half to force overtime.
  • Wilson outrebounded the Giants 58-36 but Keystone forced 25 Phoenix turnovers.
  • Mills made the game-tying layup with 1 second left in regulation to force overtime, tied at 80.
  • Mills then made the game-winning three with 14 seconds left in OT to give Keystone the huge CSAC win and remain in the postseason hunt.
