La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College women's volleyball team dropped a straight-set match to visiting Cairn University 3-0 in CSAC action on Wednesday evening in Ace Spalding Arena.
The Giants fell to the Highlanders 15-25, 17-25 and 14-25. Keystone is now 1-15 (0-3 CSAC) while Cairn improves to 6-11 (3-1 CSAC).
Standout Performers
Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla. /Putman City) tied for a match-high with 11 kills, hitting .269, while providing three digs and two solo blocks.
Marlena Pegula (Dunmore, Pa./Dunmore) enjoyed three kills and five digs while Madi Aston (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) dished out 12 assists. Cassidy Fredo (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills ) and Haley Wittenberg (Denver, Pa. /Cocalico) combined for 13 digs.

For Cairn, Allison Barnes notched 11 kills, hitting .500. The Highlanders hit .333 in the first set and limited Keystone to a negative -.032 hitting percentage in the last set.
The Highlanders enjoyed 18 aces on the night.
