Lancaster, Pa. – The Keystone College field hockey team defeated Lancaster Bible 4-0 in a CSAC game at Funk Field Saturday afternoon.
With the victory, Keystone improves to 10-4 (4-0 CSAC) while Lancaster Bible drops to 1-12 (0-5 CSAC).
Standout Performers
Alex Williams (Elkton, Md./The Tome School) recorded two goals during the game, coming in the 20th minute and the 60th minute.
Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Aregentina/San Vicente de Paul) and Courtney Dwyer (Scranton, PA/Lackawanna Trail) also contributed with one goal each.
Julia Blahut (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock), Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College), and Shannon Green (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) pitched in with one assist each during the contest.
Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) earned the shutout with one save.

Keystone outshot Lancaster Bible 17-3 and also held a 13-1 edge in penalty corners.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Keystone would go on to score one goal each in the second and third quarter and two in the fourth.

Keystone will return home to host Susquehanna University on Wednesday, October 20 at 7 p.m. Lancaster Bible will travel to Baltimore to take on Goucher on Tuesday, October 19 at 7 p.m.
