LEXINGTON, Va. - The Keystone College men's basketball team traveled to Division 1 opponent Virginia Military Institute on Tuesday and fell to the Keydets in an exhibition contest, 97-35, at Cameron Hall.

• The Giants move to 2-3 on the season while the Keydets improve to 2-1.

Standout Performers

• Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western High) tallied a team-high 13 points behind a trio of three pointers while Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) contributed five points in 16 minutes off the bench.
• Gary Brown (Pennsauken, N.J./Camden Catholic), Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembrokes Pine Charter), and Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) all grabbed four rebounds each while Tone Cockrell (Upper Marlboro, Md./Landon School) distributed a team-best four assists.
• For VMI, Kamdyn Curfman and Connor Arnold tallied 17 points each, combining to shoot 10-of-15 from downtown.

Inside the Box Score

• VMI led 53-14 at halftime and limited Keystone to 21.1 percent shooting from the field (12-57).
• The Keydets shot 50.7 percent for the contest (38-75) and 42.8 percent from three-point land (18-42).
• VMI controlled the glass, out rebounding KC 54-29, while the Keydet bench outscored the Giants, 52-15. VMI enjoyed 38 points in the paint.
