LA PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College men's soccer saw its season come to an end Wednesday evening as they fell to No. 3 Cairn University in the CSAC Semifinals, 1-0, in double overtime.
With the defeat, the Giants end the year 9-7-1 (5-1 CSAC). The Highlanders go to 12-3-2 (5-1-1) CSAC) and will head to Rosemont College for the CSAC Championship on Nov. 6. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Standout Players
- Goalkeeper Erick Gomez (New Orleans, La./John Ehret) tallied seven saves in the net for Keystone.
- Cairn defender Josh Goodyear had the golden goal in the 103rd minute off a free kick from fellow teammate Micah Portis.

Cairn out shot Keystone 17-8 as well as having the advantage on corners, 6-3. One yellow card was issued during the match. There were a combined 26 fouls in tonight's semifinal contest.
