Rutabara's Goal Lifts Giants Past Pacers

SCRANTON, Pa. - The Keystone College men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 win against Marywood University Saturday afternoon. 

Standout Players
- Franck Rutabara (Dayton, Ohio/Mound Street Academy) scored the lone and only goal in today's game in the 72nd minute off an assist from sophomore defender Erik Duran (Marietta, Ga./Kennesaw Mountain)
- Erick Gomez (New Orleans, La./John Ehret) recorded three saves in goal  for Keystone. This is Gomez's third clean sheet of the season.

Inside the Box Score
The Giants had the advantage on shots (13-6) as well as corners (5-4). Axel Gonzalez (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards) had a team leading four shots in this afternoon's contest. Three of those shots were on goal. Rutabara recorded three shots while Morade Mama (Jersey City, NJ/Hudson Catholic ) had two shots in the victory. For the Pacers, goalkeeper Alex Russo tallied six saves in the defeat. Marywood received four yellow cards in today's game.

The Giants now move to 3-1-1 and will hit the road again as they take on Kings College (PA) on Tuesday, Sept. 14 beginning at 7 p.m.
