LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team kicked off conference with a 3-1 victory over visiting Cedar Crest College Thursday evening.
Standout Performers
- Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) scored the first goal for Keystone around the five-minute mark of the first quarter.
- Two Giants found the back of the cage in the second quarter as Courtney Dwyer (Scranton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) and Julianna Santiago (Allentown, PA./Louis E. Dieruff) both scored for the home team.
- Dwyer and Santiago each had one assist.
- Sophomore goalkeepers Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) and Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) both had five saves on the night.
- Senior defender Karley Cresswell (Lake Winola, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) had two defensive saves.
