Women's Soccer Falls at Wilson 3-0 in CSAC Playoffs

Keystone ends the season at 6-8-2.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The 2022 season came to an end on Monday afternoon for the Keystone College women's soccer team, as the No. 6 seed Giants fell at the No. 3 seed Wilson College Phoenix in the CSAC quarterfinals.

The Giants end the year at 6-8-2 - making the postseason for the first time since 2018. Wilson advances to the semifinal round and improves to 12-4-2. The Phoenix will head to Bryn Athyn on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Wilson scored one first-half goal and scored two second half goals, outshooting Keystone 24-8. 

Chloe Hoffman (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) tallied four shots while Natalie Cross (Hop Bottom, Pa./Mountain View) notched three shots, with two on target. Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) made 11 saves in her hometown of Chambersburg, her sixth match this season with double-digit saves.

Bailey Miller scored twice for the Phoenix, scoring in the 37th and 66th minutes. Katie Riley provided a goal in the 65th minute.
