Second Half Surge Lead Keystone to First Conference Win

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team opened CSAC play with a 69-61 win over St. Elizabeth Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center. Keystone improves to 2-4 (1-0 CSAC). St. Elizabeth remains winless at 0-5 (0-1 CSAC).

Riley Berry (Margate, Fla./Piper) led Keystone with 18 points and three assists. Kwashanti Holmes (Yonkers, N.Y./Woodlands) recorded a double-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals. Off the Giants bench, Kyleigh Monk (Havre de Grace, Md./John Carroll School) and Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) combined for 24 points. Monk had a game high four steals in the game.

For the visiting Eagles, Kolby Lynch had a double-double as she led the squad with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals. Destiny Battle also contributed with a double-double as she tallied 13 points with 10 rebounds.

Keystone outscored St. Elizabeth in the second half 47-33. There were 57 total turnovers in the conference opener. Five players fouled in this evening's contest.

The Giants return to the court following Thanksgiving as they travel to Cedar Crest College on Tuesday, Nov. 30 for a 7 p.m. conference game. St. Elizabeth will host Cairn University on the same day at 5 p.m.
