LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball picked up their third straight win this afternoon as they defeated Alfred State College 96-73 on Saturday. Keystone moves to 3-4 with Alfred State dropping to 4-6.
Five Giants finished with double digit points. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) yet again recorded another double-double as he led Keystone with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) recorded 24 points, three rebounds, and three assists. D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) and Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) both had 13 points. Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) finished with 10 points, five assists, and four steals.
The Pioneers were led by Paris Jamison who had 15 points. Cody Schneider contributed with 13 points, eight assists, and four blocks.
Keystone outscored Alfred State 51-37 as well as in the second half 45-36. The Giants shot 60 percent from the field, and grabbed 37 rebounds in the victory.
The Giants will return to action following finals week as they host Moravian University on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. Alfred State will travel Medaille University on the same day with their game beginning at 4 p.m.
