PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. - The Keystone College women's basketball team earned a 60-49 CSAC win at Valley Forge on Saturday afternoon.
With the 11-point win, the Giants are now on a four-game winning streak and improve to 4-4 (3-0 CSAC). Keystone will play at Marywood on Saturday, Dec. 10. Valley Forge drops to 1-6 (0-3 CSAC).
Following a 13-13 deadlock after the opening quarter, Keystone claimed a 29-21 lead at halftime. The Giants outscored the Patriots 17-10 in the third.
Kwashanti Holmes (Yonkers, N.Y./Woodlands) finished with a game-high 17 points, going 6-of-11 from the field and 5-of-8 from the foul line. Holmes chipped in eight boards and a contest-best five steals.
Riley Berry (Margate, Fla./Piper) followed with 13 points, four assists and two steals while Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) tallied nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.Â
Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) and Angelise Sanchez (Atlanta, Ga./Ocoee) combined for 15 points and Kyleigh Monk (Havre de Grace, Md./John Carroll School) dished out four assists on the day.
For the Patriots, both Jessi Manning and Jasmine Hamilton tallied double-doubles with 15 points/16 rebounds and 10 points/10 rebounds, respectively.
