LA PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College football team is set to hit the road for their Week 3 matchup against the William Paterson University Pioneers this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Scouting the Giants

The Keystone College Giants (0-2) are coming off a 38-20 setback to Misericordia University last week. The Giants trailed the Cougars 10-6 at halftime but were outscored 28-14 in the second half.

Kevin Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) and Tom Roach (Burlington City, N.J./Burlington City) both scored rushing touchdowns while in the fourth quarter, Roach found Javier Tazza (Burlington City, N.J./Burlington City) for his first receiving touchdown of the year.

The Giants defense forced four turnovers last week. Defensive backs Joe Manfredo (Levittown, N.Y./General Douglas MacArthur) and Dontez Crawford (Baltimore, Md./Pennsauken) combined for three interceptions. Keystone's defense also recovered a fumble.

Scouting the Pioneers

The William Paterson University Pioneers (1-1) suffered their first loss of the season to FDU-Florham by a final score of 28-21. There were tons of miscues for William Paterson in last week's defeat such as two blocked punts, and a penalty on a 73-yard scoring play.

Quarterback Simon Condemi threw for 174 yards with two touchdowns. Wide receiver Taz Burton had a big day through the air with eight receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown.

On the defensive side, Devyn Blount and RJ Massey each recorded an interception. Blount also broke up two passes.
