LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team picked up a massive conference victory over the Cairn University Highlanders by a final score of 90-66 Wednesday evening inside the Gambal Athletic Center.
With the win, the Giants move to 8-8 (4-1 CSAC) while the Highlanders drop to 9-7 (4-1 CSAC).
Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) poured in a double-double with 33 points and 12 assists. Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored 28 points and dished out eight assists. He was 6-for-7 from three. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) was a rebound away from a double-double as he had 21 points and nine rebounds. Cairn was led by Kameron Clark and Derian Bradford who both had 12 points.
This is the Giants' first win over the Highlanders in five years. Their last win came on Jan. 20, 2018. Keystone shot 57 percent from the field and shot 58 percent from three. They outrebounded Cairn 39-27.
Keystone will travel to Rosemont College on Jan. 21 for a 1 p.m. conference tilt with the Ravens. Cairn will be at Bryn Athyn College on the same day.
