Women’s Basketball Drops 65-47 Decision to Bryn Athyn

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball fell at home to Bryn Athyn College by a final score of 65-47 in their first game of 2023 Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center. With the loss, the Giants drop to 4-7 (3-1 CSAC). Bryn Athyn moves to 5-4 (3-1 CSAC).

Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) led Keystone with 13 points and eight rebounds. Kyleigh Monk (Havre de Grace, Md./John Carroll School) had 10 points in the conference contest. Riley Berry (Margate, Fla./Piper) and Kaitlyn Slaboda (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) combined for 12 points. Allyson Frank (Rio Rancho, N.M./V. Sue Cleveland) had a game high six assists for the Giants. Bryn Athyn was led by Reilly Ward who had 14 points. Emily Driver and Alisha McKnight both contributed with 12 points.

Keystone was down 33-31 at the end of the first half. However, the Giants got cold shooting in the second half as they were outscored 32-16. The Lions outrebounded the Giants 58-32. Keystone shot 34 percent from the field.

The Giants will travel to Notre Dame of Maryland University on Thursday, Jan. 5 for a 5 p.m. CSAC matchup. Bryn Athyn will host Clarks Summit University on the same day at 7 p.m.
