EDWARDSVILLE, Pa.- The Keystone College football team takes a short trip to Edwardsville to faceoff with Wilkes University this Saturday, Oct. 14 at 12 p.m.

Keystone (1-4, 0-2 Landmark) were defeated by Susquehanna University in the team's Homecoming game.
The Giants struggled offensively as they totaled 51 yards of total offense. Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) completed six passes for 50 yards with two interceptions. Damir Green (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep) and Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) combined for 43 rushing yards.
Keystone's defense was led by defensive back Bryant Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Frankford) who posted seven tackles with one pass break up. Joe Manfredo (Levittown, N.Y./General Douglas MacArthur) grabbed his first interception of the year. Tyler Malanga (Monroe, N.J./Monroe Twp.) recorded the lone sack.
Zac Cost (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) enjoyed a solid punting performance as he punted 8 times for 335 yards with two punts landing in the opponents 20-yard line. He averaged approximately 42 yards a punt.
Wilkes
Wilkes University (2-4, 2-0 Landmark) picked up a conference win against Lycoming College 48-35 last week.
Quarterback Isaiah Rodriguez went 20-for-30 for 232 yards with three touchdowns and a pick. Elijah Jules and JayJay Jordan collectively rushed for 233 yards. Jordan recorded a 48-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter.
The Colonels defense came up huge as they forced a turnover on downs late in the fourth quarter and had three turnovers in the victory. Tallen Murray, who was named Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, logged two interceptions which included a pick-six. Cole Marinello recovered a fumble.
Wilkes led Lycoming 34-21 at halftime and were able to hold off a late Warriors rally to get the win.

Keystone will be back home to face Lycoming next Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m.
