MADISON, N.J.- The Keystone College women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 United East Conference Skye Division loss to St. Elizabeth University Saturday evening at FDU- Florham's Elizabeth Ruth Hennessey Field.
With the loss, Keystone falls to 3-9 (2-4 United East). St Elizabeth moves to 5-6-1 (1-4-1 United East).
Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) recorded one save in goal for Keystone. The lone goal in the contest came from Katherine Mora in the 28th minute off an assist from Milagros Franco.
The entire match was primarily a defensive battle by both teams as there were eight total shots recorded in the match. The Eagles outshot the Giants, 6-2. In addition, St. Elizabeth tallied four corner kicks. Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) provided the lone two shots for Keystone.
The Giants head to Wilson College next Wednesday, Oct 18 with their match beginning at 4 p.m.
