LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team enjoyed a 3-0 senior night victory against Cedar Crest College Wednesday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.
With the win, Keystone jumps to 8-3 (2-0 United East) while Cedar Crest falls to 2-12 (0-1 United East).
Prior to the start of the game, the field hockey team honored its seniors: Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West), Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College), Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul), Abril Coselino (Caba, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Schonthal), Beri Kihdze (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway), and Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial).
Tomada led the way with one goal and one assist. Mainero and Lucia Cisilino (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Jose) chipped in with one. Mascia and Belen Rodriguez (Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Santa BrÃgida) recorded an assist. For the visiting Falcons, Kadee Schrader recorded ten saves.
Keystone totaled 20 shots in the game with 13 of them being on goal. The Giants held a 13-2 margin on penalty corners.
Keystone will head to Lancaster Bible College in the team's final confernce game of the season on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m.
