EWING, N.J.- The Keystone College field hockey team suffered a 4-2 loss to #17 TCNJ Monday afternoon in nonconference action.
Keystone drops to 9-4 while TCNJ improves to 10-5.
Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) and Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul) provided second half goals for Keystone. Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) and Tomada recorded an assist. Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) and Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) appeared in the cage and combined for seven saves.
TCNJ had four different goal scorers in the victory as Claire Engebreth, Carly Cole, Bella DiNardo, and Rayhanah Ahmed scored for the Lions. Ahmed and DiNardo posted two assists.
The Lions outshot the Giants 25-7 and they posted a 15-6 margin on penalty corners. One green card was given in the game.
Keystone will wrap up the 2023 regular season this Friday, Oct. 27 at Stockton University with game time scheduled for 5 p.m.
