ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team's 2023 campaign ended this evening as they were defeated by Rosemont College 1-0 in the United East Skye Division Semifinal Monday evening.
Keystone concludes the year at 4-12-3. Rosemont improves to 11-4-1 and will host the winner of Cairn and St. Elizabeth in the Sky Division Championship on Wednesday.
Senior goalkeeper Hector Camaja Jr. (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park) made nine saves in his final collegiate start. Rosemont's lone goal in the semifinal came from Aidan Anderson in the 28th minute off an assist from Timothy Kane. Rosemont goalkeeper Gunner Hoffman recorded five saves in the victory.
The Ravens outshot the Giants, 20-6 and held a 6-1 margin on corner kicks. Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian), Jacob Gonzalez (Oakland, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep), Hernan Godoy (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards), Morade Mama (Jersey City, N.J./Hudson Catholic), and Erik Duran (Marietta, Ga./Kennesaw Mountain) chipped in with a shot on goal.
