CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team picked up their first conference win of the season as they defeated Clarks Summit 4-2 Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, Keystone improves to 2-7 (1-2 United East). Clarks Summit falls to 0-7 (0-3 United East).
Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) netted a hat trick in the contest. She scored in the 8th minute followed penalty kick in the 36th minute. To complete the hat trick, she scored in the 70th minute. Sarah Koster (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) recorded the first goal 40 seconds into the match. Goalkeeper Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) made eight saves.
For Clarks Summit, Holley Sell added the first goal for the Defenders in the 12th minute off an assist from Davi Ort. Anna Morrill scored in the 36th minute.
The Defenders outshot the Giants, 18-13. They also had a 7-2 advantage on corner kicks.
Keystone will travel to face Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Oct. 7. Match time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
