ALLENTOWN, PA – Keystone College women's volleyball was defeated 3-1 on Saturday as they took on Cedar Crest. Keystone pulled ahead in the first set, winning with a score of 25-22, but then dropped the next three sets to the Falcons with scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-22.
With this loss, the Giants are now 7-8 on the season (1-1 United East) and the Falcons improve to 7-8 on the season (2-0 United East).
The Falcons' efforts were led by Ellise Everett, who put up 14 kills and 3 aces in Saturday's match against Keystone. Cedar Crest also saw 23 assists from Nikki Blair, and 20 digs from Rebekka Sanchez-Castro.
For Keystone, Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) led the team in kills with 14 on the day, and Tobi West (Hoopeston, Ill./Hoopeston Area) ended the day with 30 assists and 19 digs. Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) also put up 21 digs during the match, as the Giants fell to the Falcons.
Women's volleyball will be back home on Wednesday (Oct 11) to face Rosemont college at 7:00 PM.
