Second Half Struggles Leads to 90-83 Loss to Penn State Berks

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team dropped a close one at home as they were defeated 90-83 Monday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.

Keystone remains winless at 0-5. Penn State Berks grabs their first win of the season and move to 1-5.

Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) netted 24 points, six rebounds, and three assists. D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and five assists. He shot 7-of-8 from the field. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) scored 11 points, four assists, and three rebounds. Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) and Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) combined for 22 points off the bench.

For the visiting Nittany Lions, Darik Tannis-Harriet contributed with 19 points and seven rebounds, and seven assists off the bench. Andrew Ballard also scored 19 points. Marquis Ferreira tallied 15 points while Luke Collins scored 14 points and four rebounds.

Keystone had a commanding 44-32 lead at the end of the first half. Penn State Berks got hot shooting as the Nittany Lions shot 61 percent from the field in the second half leading them to outscored by a 58-39 margin. The Nittany Lions did not have the lead until six minutes remaining in the game.

The Giants return after the break as they faceoff with Hood College on the road Next Monday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m.
