LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball dropped their first conference game of the season to St Elizabeth 60-49 Tuesday evening.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 1-4 (0-1 United East Skye Division) while St. Elizabeth improves to 5-1 (1-0 United East Skye Division).
Anyah Ortiz (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) scored a game high 16 points with three rebounds and two steals. Bry Hicks (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Malaysia Bryant (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) tallied 10 points off the bench.
St. Elizabeth had three players in double figures as Destiny Battle recorded a double-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Mya Davis had 16 points and four rebounds. Yasminah White logged 12 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
The Eagles outrebounded Keystone, 58-38. The Giants shot 35 percent from the field.
Keystone will head to Chambersburg, Pa. to go up against Wilson College on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
