LA PLUME, Pa.- The No.4 seed Keystone College men's basketball team is heading to the CSAC Semifinals following an 81-69 win over No.5 St Elizabeth University in the CSAC Quarterfinals Monday night in the Gambal Athletic Center. Keystone moves to 13-13 and will head to face No.1 Cairn University in the CSAC Semifinals Wednesday night at 7 p.m. St. Elizabeth ends their season at 9-15.
Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) scored a game high 28 points and seven assists. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored 12 points and dished out five assists. Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) and Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) combined for 16 points. For the Eagles, Pierre Harden was the leading scorer with 32 points and sevens rebounds.
Trailing by one at halftime, the Giants used a monster second half as they outscored their opponent, 49-36. Keystone shot 53 percent from the field and grabbed 36 rebounds.
