GENEVA, N.Y. – The Keystone College football team will hit the road for their final nonconference game of the season as they face the Hobart College Statesmen this Saturday, Sept. 23 under the lights at 6 p.m.

Keystone (1-2) are coming off a week three setback to St. John Fisher. Demiko Suggs (Washington, D.C./Bell) got the start at quarterback and completed 15 passes for 192 yards with one touchdown. Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) and Damir Green (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep) both had rushing touchdowns in last weeks game. Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) led the Keystone receiving core with four catches for 57 yards. For the second straight game, Michael Bond (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City) had a receiving touchdown.
On the defensive side, CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) led Keystone with six total tackles, five of them being solo. Bryant Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Frankford), Sean Pettway (Ellenville, N.Y./Ellenville), and Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) broke up a pass. Jah'Ciere Williams (Johnstown, Pa./JP McCaskey) caused the only turnover for the Giants. The junior defensive back intercepted a Cardinals Hail Mary attempt at the end of the first half.
Hobart
Hobart (2-0) is coming off of a week three bye. The Statesmen defeated Morrisville State College 27-10 in the teams' previous match up.
In that game, Hobart relied heavily on the run game as Rayshawn Boswell rushed for 154 yards with two touchdowns. Tim Denham Jr. scored on the ground as well.
Hobart's defense forced four interceptions on Morrisville's offense. Jaimen Bliss picked off Mustangs quarterback Steven Frerichs twice while Joe McCoy and Mike McGhee intercepted him once. Kicker Tobias Wefering went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts.

Keystone opens Landmark Conference play next Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. against Moravian University.
