LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback to Penn College Wednesday evening in the team's final nonconference game of the season.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 1-6 and Penn College jumps to 6-0-5.
Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) was busy in goal tonight as she made 15 saves in the defeat. For the visiting Wildcats, Kaelynn Sheetz scored two second half goals which occurred approximately five minutes apart. Her goals came in the 68th and 73rd minute. Wiley Eagan tallied a goal of her own in the 23rd minute. Piper Minier and Rylee Oliphant each had one assist.
Penn College outshot Keystone 29-2 and had eight corners kicks in the win. Riley Terano and Chloe Hoffman (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) recorded the lone shots for the Giants.
Keystone will resume United East Conference competition on Saturday, Sept. 30 as they play Cedar Crest College at home beginning at 11 a.m.
