LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team enjoyed a Thursday evening 3-0 sweep over Penn State Wilkes-Barre. The Giants won 25-18, 25-14, and 25-18.
Keystone moves to 6-6 while Penn State Wilkes-Barre drops to 3-8.
Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) had eight kills and four digs. Tobi West (Hoopeston, Ill./Hoopeston Area) posted a match high 26 assists. Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City), Rebecca, Jackson, and Taylor Howard (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) combined for 16 kills. Jackson and Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) combined for 26 digs.
For the visiting Nittany Lions, Sarah Watkins had a match high three blocks. Brianna Whittaker finished the night with three kills and four digs.
The Giants will gear up for the Centenary University Tri-Match on Saturday, Sept. 30 as they face host Centenary at 11 a.m. followed by Lehman College at 1 p.m.
