LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team picked up their second straight conference win dominating fashion as they defeated Gallaudet University 9-0 Saturday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Keystone improves to 3-9-1 (2-2-1 United East) and Gallaudet drops to 2-10 (1-3 United East).
The team honored its six seniors Michael Frey Jr. (Niceville, Fla./Niceville), Noel Gonzalez (Westminster, Colo./Westminster), Morade Mama (Jersey City, N.J./Hudson Catholic), Hernan Godoy (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards), and Erik Duran (Marietta, Ga./Kennesaw Mountain) in a pregame senior day ceremony.
Keystone only had one goal in the first half before pouring in eight goals in the second. Godoy led the Giants offense as he tallied a hat trick. Gonzalez, Bronson, Duran, Aidan Albertson (Sierra Vista, Ariz./Buena), Chris Roca (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park), and Clay Nickles (Benton, Pa./Benton) tallied one. Albetson posted two assists in the victory. Goalkeeper Landon Keller (Provo, Utah/Timpview) made three saves.
The Giants outshot the Bison 33-3 with 19 of them being on goal. In addition, they had 18 corner kicks in the contest.
Keystone heads to Cairn University next Saturday, Oct. 19 for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Highlanders.
