LA PLUME, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, Keystone's women's soccer ended their season with a big win at home as they shut Valley Forge out in a 7-0 victory.
The team honored its two seniors Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) and Makayla Sigafoos (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) prior to the match.
Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) led the Giants offensively on Saturday, scoring three goals off of seven shots. Sigafoos also saw her first career goal with the Giants on Saturday afternoon. Keystone's remaining goals were scored by Victory Frantz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata), Livia Hable (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area), and Sarah Koster (Dumont, N.J./Dumont).Frantz, Freni, and Riley Terrano (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) each had an assist.
Overall, the Giants had 42 shots in the match, 27 of which were on goal, and they held Valley Forge to zero shots for the duration of the match.
With this win, Keystone will finish their season with an overall record of 3-11-0, and a conference record of 1-6-0.
