WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The No. 11 seed Keystone College men's soccer team's 2024 season ended as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to No. 6 seed Penn College Tuesday evening at UPMC Field.
The Giants finish the year at 3-12-2. Penn College improves to 11-4-3 and will advance to the United East Quarterfinals on Saturday against the third seed, Cairn University.
Freshman goalkeeper Landon Keller (Provo, Utah/Timpview) made five saves in the season finale. The Wildcats only goal came from Robert Antonini who scored in the 67th minute to give Penn College the lead and ultimately the win.
Penn College outshot Keystone, 14-5. Aidan Albertson (Sierra Vista, Ariz./Buena) and Hernan Godoy (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards) both chipped in with two shots. The Wildcats held a narrow 2-1 margin on corner kicks. Six yellow cards were issued in the playoff match.
