CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team traveled to Chambersburg to take on Wilson College. The Phoenix excelled on the pitch as they came away with a 14-0 win.
Keystone drops to 2-8 (0-3 United East) and Wilson jumps to 9-2-2 (2-2 United East).
Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) was busy in goal as she made 14 saves on the afternoon.
Wilson had multiple goal scorers as Annie Smith, Halley Shaffer, and Zoie Echols notched hat tricks. Madison Kowalski had two goals off the bench and Kaela Pechert, Becca Cordell, and Maddy Miller all had one goal. Miller, Sydney Bradshaw, Savanna Mackie, and Karen Cutler tallied two assists.
The Phoenix outshot the Giants, 38-3. Kenna Bihlmier (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) added two shots while Abigail Bateman (Edmeston, N.Y./Edmeston Central) added one. Wilson had six corner kicks in the conference contest.
Keystone returns to campus on Thursday, Oct. 10 for a United East matchup with Penn State Harrisburg at 7 p.m.
