CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team saw its 2023-24 season come to an end as they fell to the No. 1 seed Wilson College 91-78 Monday evening in the Skye Division Semifinal.
Keystone finishes the season at 11-15. Wilson advances to the Skye Division Finals with a 16-10 record and will host No. 3 seed St. Elizabeth University Wednesday night.
Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) led Keystone with 19 points and three rebounds. Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) and Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) both scored 17 points. They combined for 14 rebounds and seven assists. D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) grabbed a game high 16 boards.
Four Wilson players finished in double figures as Tyrik Ward-Hoyte and Ethan Wilson scored 22 points. Ward-Hoyte shot 82 percent from the field while Wilson grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Darryl Garib was a rebound shy of a double-double as he scored 18 points with nine rebounds. Gary Robertson totaled 13 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.
The Giants outrebounded the Phoenix, 47-34. Keystone had a 40.3 field goal percentage while Wilson shot an even 55 percent.
