LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team dropped a narrow match to Five Towns College 1-0 Wednesday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
The Giants drop to 1-4 with the Sound improving to 2-2-2.
Goalkeeper Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) made seven saves in goal. Five Towns' lone goal came from Anabel Ortega who scored in the 41st minute off of a pass from Triniti Hymes-Richardson.
Keystone outshot Five Towns, 24-9. Victory Frantz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) and Livia Hable (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) recorded a team high six shots. Both teams had three corner kicks.
The Giants wrap up their three-game homestand this Saturday, Sept. 21 against the University of Pitt.-Bradford at 1 p.m.
