Keystone Football Week Four Preview: Hobart

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College football team is back at home for their nonconference finale on Saturday, Sept. 28 as they host Hobart College at 12 p.m.

Keystone (1-2) suffered a narrow 42-40 loss to St. John Fisher in their week three matchup. Quarterback Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) threw for 259 with four touchdowns and two picks. Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) rushed for 188 yards and scored twice. Wide receiver Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) caught six passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Jorden Cook (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) also had a receiving touchdown in the contest.

Defensively, Devin Montgomery (Waldorf, Md./Potomac) led the Giants defense with nine total tackles Mar-Zhon Brinson and CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) both had eight. Montgomery and Dontez Crawford (Baltimore, Md./Pennsauken) both had an interception.

Hobart

The Hobart College Statesmen (2-1) enjoyed a 27-12 comeback win over Landmark opponent Moravian University last week. The Greyhounds took a 12-7 lead late into the third quarter before the Statesmen scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth to secure the victory.

Johnny Colombi threw for 250 yards with three touchdowns. Running back EJ Taylor rushed for 103 yards with one score. Junior wideout Ahmad Crowell recorded 130 receiving yards with two touchdowns.

On the defensive side, Aidan Lane and Chris Cacace combined for 16 total tackles. Cacace and Isaiah Johnson each had a sack. Vicente Lyon punted six times for 220 yards. He averaged 36.7 yards a punt.

What's Next

Keystone opens Landmark Conference play next Saturday, Oct. 5 as they host Moravian for Homecoming and Family Weekend. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
