SCRANTON, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team suffered a road loss to Marywood University by a final score of 5-1 Wednesday evening.
Keystone drops to 1-2 with Marywood moving to 1-1.
Zamani Munthali (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) tallied the lone goal for Keystone in the 37th minute off a feed from Aidan Albertson (Sierra Vista, Ariz./Buena). Goalkeeper Hector Oliva (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) got the start and made six saves.
The Marywood Pacers were led by Danny Gomez who recorded two goals in the 59th and 68th minute, respectively. Jason Tordy, Alex Visha, and Jack Forbes both tallied one goal. Isaiah Meals and Brian Tacuri each recorded an assist.
Marywood outshot Keystone, 20-9. Both teams had four corner kicks in tonight's match. Six yellow cards were given this evening.
The Giants head to Susquehanna University on Saturday, Sept. 7 as they face the River Hawks at 4 p.m.
