LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Notre Dame of Maryland University Saturday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
The team honored Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian) in a pre-game senior day ceremony.
The Gators struck first in the 12th minute when Myles Tanksley received a pass from Pedro Lima and finished to open the scoring. Later in the half, Athanasios Ziliaskopoulas found the back of the net off another assist from Lima.
Notre Dame got a third insurance goal at the 56-minute mark as Martin Rasiwala converted another Lima setup.
On the stat sheet, Notre Dame outshot Keystone 24-8 and attempted seven corner kicks to none for the home side. Kolten McVean (Dickinson, Tex./Dickinson) recorded nine saves.
The Giants (3-12-0, 1-6-0 United East) hosts Penn State Berks in their regular season finale on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.
