Women’s Soccer Concludes 2025 Season

READING, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team wrapped up the 2025 season with a 13-1 loss to Penn State Berks Tuesday evening.

Berks struck just three minutes into the match, when Isabelle Wilkes curled a shot past the Keystone keeper off an assist from Ashley Jocham. That wake-up call sparked a barrage of attacks. At 5:07, Jocham converted another chance with help from Wilkes, then the floodgates opened. Paige Thomas extended the lead at 10:46 with a finish created by Payton Klopp, and just forty seconds later, Zoe Macknicki notched another off Klopp's service.

Jocham struck again at 11:42, this time assisted by Thomas, and Macknicki followed with her second at 13:07. By 14:23, the Nittany Lions had already piled on a third goal from Jocham with Faith Wavershak assisting.

In the 26th minute, Sydney Gonzalez found the net, assisted by Wilkes and Jocham. Gonzalez added another at 33:16 after a deft setup from Jocham. Before the half ended, Wavershak and Zoey Mortimer added two more in quick succession.

The Giants finally broke through early in the second half. At 54:46, Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) connected on a feed from Victory Frantz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata). Minutes later, Berks' Thomas converted another chance (60:31), and Jocham capped off the scoring at 68:09.

The Nittany Lions outshot the Giants 33-4 with 22 of their shots being on goal. They had a 6-1 advantage on corner kicks. Goalkeeper Malaysia Bryant (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) made nine saves in the season finale.

Keystone finished the campaign with a 0-13-1 overall record with a 0-8-0 mark in United East Conference play.
