Women’s Volleyball Concludes Season at Albright Tri-Match

READING, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team concluded the 2025 season Saturday afternoon at a tri-match hosted by Albright College.

The Giants suffered three-set defeats to the host Lions and Stockton University. Keystone ends the year at 3-24.

Match One: Stockton 3, Keystone 0

The Ospreys took down Keystone by scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-23.

Stockton took control early in the first set, jumping out to a 6–0 lead and never looking back. Keystone earned its first point on a service ace from Hailey Mowry (Vail, Ariz./Cienega), but the Ospreys' strong serving and balanced attack kept the Giants on their heels. Stockton hit an impressive .522 in the opening frame while limiting Keystone to a negative attack percentage.

The second set followed a similar pattern, as Stockton continued to execute efficiently both at the net and from the service line. Keystone managed to find brief offensive rhythm, but Stockton's front line consistently capitalized on free balls and unforced errors.

In the third set, Keystone responded with its best effort of the day. The Giants traded points early and kept the set close throughout, tying it at 7–7 and again at 12–12 after key kills from Isabella Buonopane (Wake Forest, N.C./Archbishop Williams) and Indya Rogers (Leeds, Ala./Leeds).

The Ospreys, however, maintained their composure late, fending off Keystone's late push to edge out a 25–23 win and complete the sweep.

Buonopane led Keystone with five kills on six attempts, while Mowry tallied 10 assists and six digs. Nataly Bermudez (Las Vegas, NV/Valley) anchored the defense with 10 digs.

Stockton was led by Kate Louer's 12 kills and four aces, while Rileigh Wilson added seven kills on a .875 hitting percentage. Olivia Magro paced the Ospreys with eight digs on the back line.

Match Two: Albright 3, Keystone 0

The Giants fell by 25-17, 25-22, 25-11 scores to the host Lions.

From the opening set, Albright asserted control. The Giants fought back at times, but errors and missed opportunities hindered momentum.

In set two, Keystone showed glimpses of a response with nine kills and nine errors for a .000 attack percentage. The Lions captured the upper hand with 12 kills, seven errors and a .125 hitting percentage. The set finished 25-22, keeping the momentum with the home team.

Albright was able to take care of business in the third set and complete the sweep.

Bermudez logged 10 digs while Mowry dished out eight assists and recorded two aces. Madison Woods (Camrose, Alberta, Canada/Ecole Camrose Composite) and Rachel Davis (Mont Belvieu, Tex./Barber Hills) each had four kills. Rogers and Davis combined for six total blocks.

Albright was paced by attackers Samantha Lipp and Neve Straff, each with seven kills, and Lucis Fernandes and Valouria James contributed 14 and 13 assists, respectively. Rachel Etim had a match high five total blocks (three solo & two assists) for the Lions.
